Order of the International Taekwon-do Federation

The ITF Order is awarded for outstanding services that promote the development of Taekwondo at the international level. Several dozen people around the world have been awarded the ITF Order.

In 2005 the ITF Order for outstanding contribution to the development of Taekwondo in Estonia and at the international level was awarded to the President of the Estonian Taekwondo Association, Mihhail Kõlvart. The ITF Order for outstanding sporting achievements and active work in the development of Taekwondo was awarded to the Estonian Taekwondo Association’s top athlete Ilona Tsvetkova. The awards were presented by the President of the International Taekwon-do Federation, member of the International Olympic Committee, Professor Chang Ung. The award ceremony took place in Tallinn at the opening ceremony of the International Martial Arts Festival “The Way of Young Masters”.

In 2011, at the International Martial Arts Congress held in Pyongyang, a decision was made to award Mihhail Kõlvart a second Order of the International Taekwon-do Federation for his contribution to the development of this sport in the world.

In 2015 Mihhail Kõlvart was presented with a third ITF Order, in honour of the 60th anniversary of Taekwondo.

The ETA badge of honour is awarded for outstanding services that have promoted the development of Taekwondo in Estonia.

24 November 2007

The ETA Order was awarded to the Vice President of the Estonian Taekwondo Association Valev Udras for outstanding contribution to the regional development of Taekwondo in Estonia.

The ETA Order was awarded to the Head Referee of the Estonian Taekwondo Association Sergei Mašara for outstanding contribution to the development of the Taekwondo referee system in Estonia.

The ETA Order for outstanding sporting achievements and active organisational work in the development of Taekwondo was awarded to Ilona Tsvetkova.

The awards were presented by the President of the Estonian Taekwondo Association Mihhail Kõlvart. The award ceremony took place in Tallinn at a festive event marking the 15th anniversary of the Estonian Taekwondo Association.

11 December 2007

The ETA Order was awarded to Member of the Riigikogu Vilja Savisaar for outstanding contribution to spreading Taekwondo among children and young people and for supporting young athletes.

The award was presented by the President of the Estonian Taekwondo Association Mihhail Kõlvart.

1 March 2008

The ETA Order for outstanding long-standing coaching work and the preparation of high-level athletes was awarded to the Head Coach of the Estonian Taekwondo Association Robert Trofimov.

The award was presented by the President of the Estonian Combat Sports Association Evelin Sepp. The award ceremony took place in Tallinn at the opening ceremony of the “First Estonian Open Combat Sports Games”.
