Social activity
In its daily activity the Estonian Taekwondo Association pays special attention to charity.
Every year the association organises a number of demonstration performances across Estonia. Their aim is, among other things, to awaken an interest in sport in “problem teenagers” and in children from low-income families.
Children from low-income families and orphanages are invited to the international events organised by the association. They receive free tickets to attend. For this the association cooperates with local governments, schools and Tallinn orphanages.
The association’s instructors take part in organising and running city camps for children from low-income families.
Cooperation with the International Union of National Cultural Societies LÜÜRA and the youth association Põlvkond plays a big role in the association’s work. The cooperation shows in shared cultural life, joint projects and mutual help.
The Estonian Taekwondo Association – a big family!
